Pilgrimage Lake-Goshainkunda Trek is one of the most popular short treks in Nepal which lies in the north of Kathmandu. The Goshainkunda area has been delineated as a religious site. You will explore 108 lakes in this area which are small to medium in size. And Goshainkunda is one of the significant sites for pilgrimage tourism in Nepal. Actually, Goshainkunda (4380m) is an alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake in Langtang region of Nepal.
Goshainkunda Trek takes you to Langtang National Park which is rich in the rare species of flora and fauna. This amazing adventure blends with the diversity of spectacular views of the Himalayas with a vast number of exciting ethnic encounters. During this trek, we will pass through several rhododendron and bamboo forests with plethora of wildlife and majestic Himalayan vista. The trek to Goshainkunda will provide you an opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views of beautiful peaks including Langtang Lirung (7200m), Ganesh Himal (7600m), and Langtang II (7227m) among others. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon reaching at Kathmandu, the representatives from our company receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport and then transfer you to the hotel. You stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley
You will have full day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley today. We will mainly cover world-famous World Heritage Sites situated at Kathmandu including: Pashupatinath Temple (one of the holiest temple of Lord Buddha), Bauddhanath Stupa (one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monasteries in Nepal), Swayambhunath Temple (popularly known as Monkey Temple among foreigners), and Kathmandu Durbar Square among others. We stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche
Today, we drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche. It takes around 7 hours to reach Dhunche via local bus. After crossing the ring road and rani ban, we climb to Kakani from where we have good views of the Himalayas including Ganesh Himal, Mount Manaslu and Lantgang. We also pass through the National Park check post before Dhunche. We stay overnight at Dhunche.

Day 04: Trek from Dhunche to Sing Gompa
Today, after taking breakfast, we start our trek that ascends gradually throughs mineral water factory up to the Ghatte Khola. We continue our trek on the steep trail through the forest of pine and rhododendrons. Eventually, we reach Sing Gompa where we stay overnight.

Day 05: Trek from Sing Gompa to Lauribina Yak
We climb steeply up the ridge today. The area on the northern slope is a sanctuary for the red panda. Passing through Chalang Pati, we finally arrive at Lauribina Yak where we stay overnight at local lodge.

Day 06: Trek from Lauribina Yak to Gosainkunda
From Lauribina Yak, we climb further along the ridge till we see the first lakes at around 4100m. Our trail now leaves the ridge and heads high above the Trishuli Valley. Passing through the Bhairav Kunda, we eventually reach the largest lake in the region known as Gosainkunda. It takes about 40 minutes to walk around the lake. We stay overnight at teahouse.

Day 07: Trek from Gosainkunda to Sing Gompa
Today, after exploring the Gosainkunda Lake, we retrace back to Sing Gompa. We stay overnight at local lodge.

Day 08: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche
Today, we stroll back Dhunche from Sing Gompa following the same route back. We stay overnight at a local lodge in Dhunche.

Day 09: Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu
We drive to Kathmandu today. On reaching Kathmandu, you can take your time for last minute shopping. In the evening, we celebrate the farewell dinner with our team.

Day 10: Final Departure
After completing your rewarding trip in Nepal, you are going to leave Nepal today. Our company representative will transfer you to the airport for your final departure. We will be returning to your hometown today.
