Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular trekking packages in the world and is the best-selling trip in Nepal. During this trip, we will be following the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa to the Highest Peak in the world. We will get to experience the ultimate challenge of reaching the lap of Mount Everest (EBC) which offers the breathtaking mountain panoramas. For the trekking lovers, Everest Base Camp is one of the most inspiring places in the world.
In Everest Base Camp Trek, you can witness the sensational mountain views and the close insight into the culture and lifestyle of Sherpa people. We begin this trip with the sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Kathmandu offers you to explore the ancient temples and shrines, restaurants and bazaars along with some World Heritage Cultural sites. After that, we catch our scheduled flight to Lukla and begin trek to Phakding and Namche following the trail through Dudh Koshi River and Sagarmatha National Park. Namche is the Gateway to Everest Region. After spending a day for acclimatization in Namche, we leave Namche and we move forward to Tyangboche which offers you the ancient Buddhist monastery area in the Everest region. En route, the beautiful views of Kusum Kangru, Thamserku, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Kantega and others welcome you. You can get the excellent views of Everest and other peaks from the best viewpoint of Kalapatthar. Eventually, after trekking and exploring the Everest Base Camp, we follow our trail back to Namche and then to Lukla which marks the end of our trek. We catch our flight back to Kathmandu and our trip ends.

Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon reaching at Kathmandu, the representatives from our company receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport and then transfer you to the hotel. You stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
You will have full day guided sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley today. We will mainly cover world-famous World Heritage Sites situated at Kathmandu including: Pashupatinath Temple (one of the holiest temple of Lord Buddha), Bauddhanath Stupa (one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monasteries in Nepal), Swayambhunath Temple (popularly known as Monkey Temple among foreigners), and Kathmandu Durbar Square among others. We stay overnight at tented camp.

Day 03: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2804m) and trek to Phakding (2610m): 3 hours
Early in the morning, we catch our morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The scenic flight of about 35 minutes will take to the Lukla Airport. On arrival at the airport, we meet our guide who will brief you and introduce with our porters before begin trekking further towards Phakding. It takes approx. three hours to reach Phakding where we stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3441m): 5 hours
Today, we continue trekking along Dudh Koshi River banks. We will cross this river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. We then enter Sagarmatha National Park from where our trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Eventually we reach Namche Bazaar which is the gateway to Everest Region. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest Trail. We stay overnight at Guesthouse at Namche.

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche
In order to acclimatize and adjust with the higher altitude and thinning of air, we spend a day in Namche as Acclimatization Day. We take a short trek to the historical museum and Syangboche Airport. We can witness rewarding views of Himalayas with beautiful sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu Peaks. We stay overnight at guesthouse at Namche.

Day 06: Trek from Namche to Tyangboche (3860m)- 5 hours
We continue our trek today along the rushing glacial waters of Dudh Koshi with magnificent views of the mountains. We reach Tyangboche monastery and explore around the ancient monastery area with incredibly ornate wall hangings, beautiful sculpture of Buddha (20 foot high), and the musical instruments of robes of Lamas and many others. We stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 07: Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4350m): 6 hours
Our trail drops to Debuche from Tyangboche and then crosses another exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola. We further climb to Pangboche amongst thousands of mani stones and continue towards the quaint traditional Sherpa village of Dingboche. From Dingboche, we can explore the beautiful views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Island Peak. We stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 08: Hike to Chhukung Valley (4710m) and return back to Dingboche: 4 hours
We can enjoy another day for acclimatization today. So, we will have a trip to Chhukung Valley through the Imja Khola valley to get a marvelous view of the surrounding mountains. We then return back to Dingboche where we stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m): 5 hours

Our trail continues along the lateral moraine of Khumbu Glacier and passes by stone memorials for climbers who have perished during expedition on nearby summits. From here, we continue climbing to Lobuche which is just a few huts at the foot of Lobuche Peak. We stay overnight at guesthouse in Lobuche.

Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to EBC (5365m) and return back to Gorakshep: 8 hours

Today will be another big and difficult day walk along the Khumbu Glacier and up to Everest Base Camp. We can enjoy spectacular views of the Khumbu Icefall from Base Camp. We return back to Gorakshep where we stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 11: Hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m) and trek down to Pheriche (4200m): 7 hours
Today will be one of the most difficult yet rewarding days of the trek. We hike up to Kalapatthar early in the morning where we can enjoy the magnificent panorama of Mount Everest and other highest mountains in the Khumbu region. Kalapatthar is regarded as one of the best viewpoint in this region. We then descend back to Gorakshep and then further down to Pheriche where we stay overnight at guesthouse.

Day 12: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3441m): 6 hours
We take slightly different route down to Orsho from Pheriche today. We further trek to Pangboche villages where we can explore the oldest monastery in the region which contains what is said to be the scalp and bones of abominable snowman Yeti. From Pangboche, we trek further to Tyangboche and then to Namche. We stay overnight at Guesthouse in Namche.

Day 13: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2804m): 6 hours
Eventually, we return to Lukla where the trek started. It takes approx. six hours to reach Lukla from Namche. Lukla marks the end of our trek. We stay overnight at guesthouse in Lukla.

Day 14: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu
We catch our scheduled flight back to Kathmandu today. On arriving at Kathmandu, you can take your time to visit around the city or you can go for last minute shopping in Kathmandu. We stay overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 15: Final Departure
After completing your rewarding trip in Nepal, you are going to leave Nepal today. Our company representative will transfer you to the airport for your final departure. We will be returning to your hometown today.
