Bhutan is rich in culture and tradition. The unique culture and tradition of the Bhutan is mesmerizing to many trekkers. The typical culture of the local people along with the beautiful combination of the architecture and historical places is the main reason of tour at Bhutan. The typical culture of the Bhutanese people is still isolated from the modernization. Thus, the Bhutanese people have been successfully preserving their culture from the modernization. The major languages that are used to be spoken at the Bhutan are Dzongkha and Sharchop which are closely related with the Tibetan languages. Not only the languages, but the physical body of the Bhutanese people is also similar with the Tibetan people. Majority of the Bhutanese people used to follow the Buddhism as their main culture. Religion has great impact in the day to day life of every citizen. The hill sides of the Bhutan are almost covered with the prayer flags. The traditional music can be heard at different places of Bhutan. The music used to reflects their lifestyle and culture in many aspects.

The male people used to wear Gho which contains heavy knee length rode tied with belt and the women used to wear colorful blouses over which they used a rectangular cloth called Kira. The climate of the Bhutan is generally cold and humid so, the Gho and Kira is made up of woolen but according with the season, they can be either of wool or cotton. The Bhutanese girls have more rights in the societies than the men. The properties of the family are controlled by the mother of the family. Not only the properties, there are several things which will be under the control of the women.
