Bhumthang trekking region is one of the best trekking regions of the Bhutan. The Bhumthang trekking is considered as one of the religious trekking place of Bhutan. The trekking region will takes the trekkers to the religious region of the Bhutan where we can see numerous numbers of Buddhists temples and monasteries. The Bhumthang trek will offer us great opportunity to enjoy the rural life of the Bhutan. While trekking at the Bhumthang region the maximum altitude that we will acquire will be 2900m at the Ngang Lhakhang. We can both types of trekking i.e. Camping or lodging trekking at the Bhumthang region. The trekking at the Bhumthang will be best during the time of September to December and March to May.

The trekking route of the Bhumthang region will passes through several villages of the region. This types of trekking is specially designed for the short visit over to the Bhutan where the trekkers will be mesmerized with the glorious view of the high mountains along with the green forest at the low altitude and some exceptionally beautiful villages which are rich in both natural and cultural aspects. Thus trekking to the Bhumthang region is perfect for the trekkers with limited budgets and limited time.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
When your flight will be landed at the international airport of Nepal, you will be received by the representative of the Frontline Tours & Travels. He will guide you towards one of the best hotel of Kathmandu to take rest for the leisure time. Later on, we will enjoy the delicious breakfast at the local hotels.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Paro
From Kathmandu we will catch the Druk air to reach at the Paro airport viewing the scenic beauty from the flight. We can view the spectacular beauty f the Bhutan from the flight before landing. After landing at the Bhutan, we will be guided towards the hotels. The journey will be beautiful while walking through the clean and fresh environment. We will take rest for several hours at the hotel room. After having the lunch, we can visit around the market area where we can buy some magnificent things that we may like.

Day 03: Paro to Thimpu
From Paro, we will drive towards the Thimpu viewing the glorious view of the surroundings. We can see the oldest fortress during the drive to Thimpu. After reaching at the Thimpu, we will take rest at the nearest hotel for the night.

Day 04: Thimpu to Punakha
From the Thimpu, we will move towards the Dochu la pass where we can see 108 chortens along with the combination of the great Himalayan ranges. Then, we will climb through the forest of pine and cedar and will continue until we will reach at the Punakha valley. The leisure time can be spent in visiting the Punakha Dzong. Here we can several idioms of Buddha.

Day 05: Punakha to Trongsa

After having the breakfast at the Punakha, we will move towards the Trongsa. The road will continue for about 5 hours through the main trail. We will be enchanted viewing the wonderful view of the black mountains and then visiting the town of the Wangdue and Pele la pass. While moving forward, we can see several Yaks grazing at the pasturelands and the impressive view of the Mt. Jhomulhari. Furthermore, we can visit the Trongsa Dzong.

Day 06: Trongsa to Bhumthang valley
After having the wonderful breakfast, we will head towards the Bhumthang where the beautiful view of the surroundings will mesmerizes us. The view of the Kurjey Lhakhang, Jambay monasteries, Tamshing Gompa, Jakar Dzong and many beautiful Swiss farms will be amazing to watch. Bhumthang is the first place of Bhutan where Buddhism was started.

Day 07: Sightseeing in Bhumthang
We will spend a day at the Bhumthang viewing the wonderful view of the surroundings. We can visit at the Buddhist temples and monasteries while visiting around the Bhumthang valley. We can vist at the Jakar Dzong during the daytime. The day and night both will be fun at the Bhumthang.

Day 08: Bhumthang to Ngang Lhakhang

From the Bhumthang, we will trek towards the Ngang Lhakhang. We will follow the trail of the Chamkhar River while trekking towards the Ngang Lhakhang. We will stay the night at the Ngang Lhakhang at the altitude of 3000m after the trekking of 4 to 5 hours.

Day 09: Ngang Lhakhang to Ugyenchholing
Today we can visit at the Ugyenchholing climbing the steep way towards the Phephe la pass at the altitude of 3600m. On the way, we can enjoy the great view of the surroundings . the trekking will lasts for about 6 to 7 hours. The trekking to the Ugyenchholing is just an option in the itinerary. If the time is sufficient then only we can do this trekking otherwise we will return back to the Bhumthang through the same way back. The night will be at Ugyenchholing at the altitude of 3100m.

Day 10: Trek to Mebartsho and Bhumthang
Early morning we will visit at the Ugyenchholing Dzong and will drive towards the Mebartsho viewing the wonderful sceneries of the surroundings. Then, we will reach at the Bhumthang later of the day. The night will be spectacular at the Bhumthang.

Day 11: Bhumthang to Wangdue
From the Bhumthang, we will drive back to the Wangdue viewing the wonderful sceneries of the surroundings. The night will be spectacular viewing the wonderful sceneries of the surroundings. After the drive for several hours the night will be spectacular at the Wangdue enjoying with the friends.

Day 12: Wangdue to Punakha and to Paro

From the Wangdue, we will drive towards the Punakha. The en route beauty will be exhilarating too watch. Similarly, the drive to Punakha only takes about 45 minute from Wangdue. Then after reaching at the Punakha we will continue to drive until we will reach at the Paro to stay the night over there.

Day 13: Paro to Kathmandu
From Paro, we will take the returning flight back to the Kathmandu. We will be landed at the international airport and will head towards the hotel for the rest of the day. We can also visit at the city area of Kathmandu valley.

Day 14: Farewell

Today is the farewell day. We will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding. After having the refreshing breakfast, we will walk towards the airport. We will be entertained by the small farewell program organized at the airport by the Frontline Tours & Travels. Then you will catch the res
